On June 1st, we welcomed new talent hired through the Young Apprentice Program. This government initiative aims to provide training to young people between the ages of 16 and 22, inserting them into the job market and paving the way for their first job. It is being built through public policies and mainly through incentives. This was […]
This was made possible by the increase in our company's staff. Since 2018, several young people have already had the experience and most of them have been hired. Last year, for example, 100% of the participants were hired.
Valuing our social responsibility and aiming to contribute to the development of promising talents, Fast is honored to be in contact with the new generation, which is emerging bringing a different perspective to processes, in addition to many skills, competencies and a thirst to conquer the world with their ideas.
This year, 14 people were selected in different areas of activity, namely: marketing, finance, budgeting, research and development, machining, boilermaking, assembly, quality, PPC and warehouse. In partnership with SENAI in Capinzal, the young people take apprenticeship courses focused on the company's business, contributing to their professional training and even earning a possible job.
We hope that this journey will be full of knowledge and success for these promising young people, just as it was for our two colleagues who left their testimonies:
“When I started as a Young Apprentice at Fast, I had no idea how important it would be in my life in terms of learning and development. Every day I felt more and more like being part of it. I worked in the sales department, the HR department and the PPC department, all of which had very different activities. Participating in this program was essential to valuing work and learning about the processes that occur within the factory. And when my time as an apprentice was coming to an end, I was given the wonderful opportunity to continue at Fast, this time as an assistant to the industrial manager. It is gratifying to start a career in an industry that is growing more and more every day and to be able to be part of this process.” – Leticia V. Luckmann
“The Young Apprentice program was really good for me. During the time I was there before being hired, I learned a lot of things that I never imagined I would be able to do. The other employees always helped me with my learning and always paid attention to me when I was having difficulties. I believe it is a great experience to have before signing a permanent contract, because before being hired you know that you already have the knowledge and you are looking forward to staying at the company. It was really good when they first came to me and told me about hiring me. It is rare for good opportunities like this to come along. So I grabbed it with both hands and did my best to give my best to the company and to myself so that I could stay.” – Marcelo Moreira Lopes
