Solution for Effluent Treatment Plant
Activated Sludge System – Diffused Air Aeration
Activated sludge plants use the biological process to treat water and effluents, aiming to remove organic matter and nutrients present in the influent.
The process involves adding microorganisms (usually bacteria) to raw sewage or wastewater, which feed on the organic matter, which is their main source of nutrients. During the digestion of the organic matter, the microorganisms produce sludge (biological waste) and transform the organic matter into more stable compounds, such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). In the systems, it is necessary to recirculate part of the sludge generated to keep the population of microorganisms active.
As an alternative to treating effluents with activated sludge, Fast offers the diffused air aeration system. Recommended for industries or municipal or industrial treatments that have lagoons or tanks, this is a system that allows the transfer of oxygen, replacing mechanical aerators.
Advantages
- Efficient and economical technology for wastewater treatment;
- Removal of organic matter and nutrients;
- Low OD consumption;
- Low noise;
- Energy saving.
Depending on the needs and efficiency objectives of each project, the system can be developed and put into operation by the Fast team in one of these formats: fixed, removable or floating system, and can be tubular or disc.
Fixed Diffused Air Aeration System
For those looking for lower installation and maintenance costs.
Removable Diffused Air Aeration System
For those seeking greater flexibility in operation and maintenance.
Floating Diffused Air Aeration Systemyou
For those looking for more practical operation and have very large and irregular tanks and/or ponds.
Removable tubular diffusers
Fixed disc diffusers
