The beginning of May was a time of great learning. Continuing with activities aimed at the continuous improvement of our processes, innovation and strengthening of our organizational culture, we promoted a Kaizen Week among our employees.
With guidance from Leandro Pizol and monitoring by Fast's Administrative Manager (João Boareto) and Industrial Manager (Claudimir Debarba), the training aimed to improve processes related to workplace safety and, thus, ensure better conditions for carrying out activities at all levels, prioritizing people's well-being.
The Kaizen method argues that carrying out these activities is extremely important, as it involves all employees in each of the processes and creates synergy.
The health and safety and HR teams participated. In total, we brought together eight professionals and, to represent them, we brought the testimonies of two of them:
Julia Boareto (HR Intern) – “Kaizen Week was very important for the occupational safety sector. Through the study and mapping of processes, it was possible to clearly see improvement actions, aiming at the well-being and safety of the employee.”
João Machado (Occupational Safety Technician) – “The training was excellent, an opportunity for us to stop and look at our processes from the outside in, without the automation of day-to-day activities, proposing to identify waste of time and resources in a very didactic, objective and easy-to-understand way. This allowed us to have a more critical view of our activities, allowing us to correct errors and develop long-term planning, focused on preventing accidents and incidents.”
This is how we seek our evolution, always in a collaborative and constant way!
