World Quality Day is a date that takes place annually in November and is part of the calendar of several companies, especially those that are looking to evolve their processes.
With this in mind, we mobilized a multidisciplinary team to take on the challenge of holding our first quality week, QualiFast. The goal was to keep our internal audience engaged and expand their knowledge about the Management System, as commented by Quality Inspector Viviane Alves:
“When we talk about Fast Industrial Technology, what comes to mind is the quality of our products, and that’s when we came up with the idea of creating a program focused on the topic. QualiFast was born, a week of lectures and activities to celebrate World Quality Day. We planned each day with a single goal: to spread knowledge. As the days went by, we noticed that there was a constant exchange of knowledge. We carried out some activities in parallel with the lectures, which were tasks to be done at home, games like the mystery box, the challenge of finding the number of rivets in the pot, the Fast museum that had the first measuring instruments and prize draws. We could see that we were spreading knowledge, as the level of interest and excitement of each employee was clear.”
The event took place from November 8th to 12th and had the following schedule:
Monday (11/08): Opening of the week – Viviane / Flotation System – Ariel and Flávia
Tuesday (11/09): Conservation of measuring instruments – Leonardo Tecnoiso
Wednesday (10/11): Quality of life vs. anxiety – Queli Kuhn
Thursday (11/11): Integrated Management System – Mariana Franciscon (CBG consultant)
Friday (12/11): Lean: a cultural change – Lendro Pizol / Closing – Claudimir De Barba
The closing of the week was done by the Industrial Manager, Claudimir De Barba, who congratulated the employees involved for their engagement, in addition to highlighting the partnership of companies and suppliers, who helped with the lectures and with the gifts that were distributed and raffled off to the employees.
As part of the week, we also held a sentence contest. Check it out:
My way of achieving quality is to establish priorities and goals and, with that, carry out planning that seeks to increase the quality of the service provided without the need for rework. It means thinking from the beginning of the process, about the final product and the satisfied customer. Ana Paula Filipon – Civil Project
I practice quality in all my actions and I also seek to ensure it in the actions that are the responsibility of my team and other teams. Quality is not just about delivering an aesthetically pleasing product, it must be safe, contain quality parts, and be purchased from suppliers who can attest and prove the controls of their processes. I like to deliver products thinking that I would be the customer. Dionatan Falavigna – Supplies and Logistics
My way of achieving quality is to imagine myself as a one-person company providing services to Fast. Since Fast is my client, I need to ensure quality in the provision of my services to them, so I seek proactive solutions to the problems they propose to me, always providing the best service in the shortest amount of time. I also seek to avoid waste and apply Lean to my activities. Alexia Bencke Colaço – PCP
My way of achieving quality is organized in a variety of ways, always valuing the well-being of the company and production, seeking professional punctuality and meeting delivery dates, leveraging our sector within the company. That said, I will list some of the practices:
- Commitment

This was just the first edition and, certainly, the quality of the event will continue to improve, as will all our processes and projects. This is the Fast way of being and doing better!
