Since today is Arbor Day, we have another opportunity to talk about sustainable attitudes. Within this theme, Fast has successful examples in relation to plant curtains. But how does this work?
The cultivation of trees as plant curtains is a practice that involves planting specially selected plant species as an alternative to minimizing the impacts of industrial activities.
These curtains are an excellent windbreak, producing shade, contributing to the balance of the biome and bringing well-being to people. After all, our quality of life is also linked to the landscape aspects of our surroundings.
One case in which Fast is involved is the Santa Terezinha ETE, in Canela/RS. There, more than 411 seedlings of native species were planted, 333 units of shrub seedlings (Calliandra brevipes) and 78 units of tree seedlings (Inga marginata), with the implementation of an irrigation system to ensure the good development of the plants.
Fast has been working since 1995 with the premise of developing projects that have a positive impact on the environment and people. Through efficient processes, we offer support to clients from various segments, from the conception of a sustainable project to the delivery of equipment and its entire useful life cycle. This combination of factors, added to our culture of continuous management improvement, has yielded great achievements. The most recent is the ISO 14001:2015 certification.
