During World Environment Week, in addition to promoting internal programs and on our social media, we participate in external actions to inspire people, through our example, to adopt sustainable attitudes.
The first of these was the RBV Verde Action, promoted by Rádio Massa FM. It took place on June 4th at the same time in several cities, including Capinzal. We contributed as one of the sponsors and exhibitors in our city.
At our stand:
– We share the company’s sustainable practices.
– We collect waste, such as seals, PET bottle caps and medicine packets.
– We present a demonstration prototype of the water treatment process by flotation and flocculation.
– We also showed a prototype of a waste collector, in the shape of a decanter, manufactured in a polypropylene cell.
On June 6th, we held a lecture for elementary school students at the Centro Educacional Potencial in the city of Ouro/SC.
With the participation of Morgana Dalla Costa, agronomist and specialist in Environmental Engineering and Basic Sanitation, we address the national and regional context of water consumption and sanitation, as well as existing methods for treating water and sewage, especially the flotation and flocculation processes used by our company.
The event was held at the school’s invitation for the “Environment and Sustainability Project”. The students showed great interest and actively interacted, enriching the experience provided by the lecture.
For Fast, it is an honor to participate in projects like these, in which we can share sustainability and inspire people to apply it in their daily lives.
