Fast's dynamic clarification process increases palm oil quality

A recent study conducted in Bogotá, Colombia, verified the quality of palm oil extracted through Fast's dynamic clarification process. The aim of the study was to analyze improvements in the oil extraction process through technologies that reduce losses and improve the efficiency of the procedures.

The case study “Impact of dynamic clarification on the extraction and recovery process of raw palm oil (case study)” found that with the dynamic clarification process it is possible to reduce the water used in the dilution stage by up to 30%.
The research also found that the quality of the oil obtained through dynamic clarification is better, as it has a lower degree of impurities and moisture, reaching levels of 0.1 to 0.25% for moisture and 3.3% for AGL. The study concluded that the use of the dynamic clarification process allows for increased operational efficiency, reduced water pollution load in relation to solids, fats and oils, reduced the amount of effluent to be treated by up to 60% and also improved the quality of the palm oil obtained. This is yet another example of Fast technology that increases productivity and reduces the impact on the environment.
