FAST was hired by CASAN – Companhia Catarinense de Água e Saneamento – to implement a new sewage treatment plant (ETE), in a compact module, in Canasvieiras, Florianópolis. The new unit is expected to start operating in early December.
To this end, FAST is working on the development of the ETE equipment at its headquarters in Capinzal, while another team is carrying out the foundation work for the new prefabricated unit. The compact station will have the capacity to treat 100 liters per second and will thus increase the purification of sewage from 15 million liters to 25 million liters per day in the city of Florianópolis.
The implementation of a sewage treatment system is important to preserve the quality of seawater and prevent health problems. FAST is bringing a better quality of life to people and sustainability to the environment.
