FAST is working intensively on changes to the executive project of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Forquilhinha, in the South of Santa Catarina. The work is expected to begin within 120 days so that the plant can be operational by December 2018.
The project is being carried out with R$24 million in funding and includes the implementation of a sewage collection network, five pumping stations and a compact sewage treatment plant with a capacity to treat up to 35 liters per second. In addition, 1,329 household connections will be made, with 34,000 meters of piping to serve residents of the Center, Vila Lourdes, Santa Clara and Vila Isabel.
