The Opening of the 2024 Olive Harvest, held in Olivas de Gramado, on February 16, celebrated all the symbolism that surrounds the olive tree: an imposing and resilient tree, defying time and gifting us with intense and surprising flavors. 

During the official ceremony, promoted by Ibraoliva, the authorities present highlighted the importance of olive tourism and the growing quality of national extra virgin olive oil, which is increasingly recognized internationally. 

Although the weather conditions during the event caused changes to the schedule, with the cancellation of the symbolic harvest and the demonstration of the extraction in the mill, Fast once again stood out as the main sponsor and participated in a moment worthy of note: the first extraction of olive oil in Gramado using the Monobloco Fast extraction system, capable of processing 100kg/h. 

The feat was presented by the olive expert, olive grower and now master oil miller, André Bertolucci, with the presence of the press and the patriarch Pedro Bertolucci during the first tasting, the latter, whose trajectory dates back to the modernization and development of tourism in the renowned city of Gramado.

In addition, the Fast team conducted the technical delivery of the equipment and demonstrated the entire process of the first drops of Olivas de Gramado olive oil. The final result of the processing of 500kg of olives was appreciated by all participants of the event, who received a miniature of the olive oil, along with other local artisanal olive-based products, as part of the kit.

This joint effort from all sectors aims to promote the best that is produced in Brazil: tourism, our technologies and our extra virgin olive oil.
